New Update for For The King II Addresses Key Issues
IronOak Games has released a significant update for For The King II, aimed at resolving several critical issues that players have encountered during their adventures, particularly in the Dark Carnival and overworld scenarios.
This update specifically targets two major problems: a combat softlock during town sieges and mimic fights, as well as a progression blocker affecting Floor 26 of the Dark Carnival. Additionally, the update resolves a bug that prevented the removal of Hanged Souls after defeating the Hangman.
Town Siege and Mimic Fights Improved
Players can expect a smoother experience during town siege encounters, especially when rain is involved. The update fixes a softlock that could occur during these battles or when clearing enemy camps that contained mimic treasure chests. Existing save games can now be loaded or continued without issues.
Progression Unblocked in Dark Carnival
Floor 26 of the Dark Carnival has also been addressed. The softlock that occurred when a summoned Junior attacked the party has been fixed, allowing players to resume their game seamlessly.
Additional Bug Fixes
In addition to the major fixes, the update includes several other improvements:
- Defeating the Hangman now correctly removes Hanged Souls from the game.
- A softlock that could occur in overworld dungeons when transitioning to a new floor with a mercenary in the party has been resolved.
- A softlock issue in Adventure 5 related to selecting a locked plan has also been corrected.
With these updates, IronOak Games aims to enhance the overall gameplay experience for both single-player and multiplayer modes. Players are encouraged to dive back into the game and enjoy a more stable and engaging adventure.
