For The King II Hotfix Addresses Critical Softlock Issues

IronOak Games has announced a recent hotfix aimed at resolving significant softlock issues in their popular title, For The King II. This update specifically addresses a problem encountered when players come across locked chests without any lockpicks, which previously rendered the game unplayable. Additionally, it resolves a related softlock that occurred when continuing a game save that had experienced the initial lockpick issue.

The hotfix includes the following key improvements:

  • Resolved the softlock issue triggered by encountering a locked chest without lockpicks.
  • Fixed the subsequent softlock when attempting to continue a save file affected by the lockpick problem.
  • Corrected an issue where the "Protected" status was not effectively preventing non-damage status effects.
  • Adjusted the "Evade Down" effect to properly remove the 5% evasion bonus for both enemies and players affected by it.

IronOak Games is committed to ongoing improvements and will continue to release hotfixes to enhance the overall gaming experience. Players are encouraged to stay tuned for future updates.

Thank you for your ongoing support of For The King II!
