For The King II Update Addresses Major Bugs and Introduces Seasonal Cosmetics
IronOak Games has announced a significant update for For The King II, aimed at improving gameplay stability by addressing several critical bugs that have been frequently reported by players. The developers have focused on resolving issues that have led to softlocks and desynchronizations, particularly during boss fights and combat situations.
Key fixes include:
- Resolving an issue that caused bosses to softlock during phase transitions, notably affecting the Bandit King encounter.
- Addressing combat revive softlocks and desyncs that occurred when fleeing from combat.
- Fixing various softlock scenarios related to item exchanges, scroll usage, and ambush situations while sailing.
In addition to these critical fixes, the update has enhanced the combat experience by ensuring player boats can take damage during the Kraken fight and improving visual effects for certain abilities.
User experience has also been improved with the addition of visual cues for focus refunds and general UI enhancements. Players will now see clearer information during dungeon encounters, contributing to a more intuitive gameplay experience.
On a lighter note, the update brings seasonal flair to the Lore Store with the introduction of new free cosmetics for Easter and April Fool’s Day, including Bunny Ears and the popular Merling Skin. Players can also enjoy the option to customize the color tone of certain cosmetic items.
