For The King II: Latest Patch Addresses Key Issues and Enhancements
IronOak Games has released a new patch for their adventure RPG, For The King II, aimed at improving gameplay stability and user experience. This update addresses several critical issues, particularly focusing on desynchronization problems during online play, along with various gameplay enhancements.
Online Fixes
The patch includes several fixes to enhance online multiplayer functionality:
- Resolved an issue where certain actions, such as using bombs in combat, could trigger a desync.
- Implemented a cooldown for the Map Marker ping system to prevent spamming, which was occasionally causing soft locks or desyncs.
- Fixed a desync issue related to camera movements during scourge fights.
- Corrected a problem where off-turn players viewed incorrect slot roles when the active turn player used bombs.
Global Fixes
In addition to online improvements, the update addresses global gameplay issues:
- Fixed the "running man" bug, which caused a party member to run on the overworld hex and led to game soft locks and desyncs in online sessions.
- Resolved soft lock issues that occurred after finishing overworld combat and passing treasure chests.
- Enhanced camera transitions during scourge Haunt fights for a smoother experience.
Kraken Encounter Updates
The patch also made specific adjustments to the Kraken fight:
- Restored the boat health HUD to provide players with better visibility during these encounters.
- Fixed a bug that allowed the Kraken to move through the boat when it had been afflicted by certain statuses.
Translation Corrections
The update corrects a translation issue in both French and Spanish, ensuring accurate information is provided on the Immune to Stun/Daze tooltip.
