For The King II: Hotfix 1.0.15 Released to Address Save Issues and Multiplayer Stability
IronOak Games has announced the release of Hotfix 1.0.15 for their popular adventure RPG, For The King II, aimed at resolving critical issues that arose after the recent 1.0.14 update. Players who updated to version 1.0.14 may have encountered problems with campaign saves from earlier builds not being retained. The team has expressed their apologies for this inconvenience and is committed to providing ongoing support and improvements.
This latest hotfix ensures that players can access their previous campaign saves from version 1.0.13 and earlier, along with any new saves initiated in 1.0.14.
Key Improvements in Hotfix 1.0.15
The update not only addresses save compatibility but also focuses on balancing gameplay and enhancing multiplayer functionality:
-
Multiplayer Enhancements:
- The hotfix resolves connectivity issues that caused players to receive ‘Adventure not found’ error messages, improving the overall multiplayer experience.
- It also fixes a bug that prevented the Lobby UI from functioning correctly when accepting Steam invites.
-
Gameplay Balance Adjustments:
- The Jelly side quest difficulty has been reduced from three Jellies to two, while the difficulty for the Apprentice level across all adventures has been softened.
- The game’s difficulty scaling has been improved for parties with fewer than four characters, and adjustments have been made to the challenge-to-loot ratio in town quests.
- A fix has been implemented to prevent players from purchasing items multiple times in the Lore Store, which previously resulted in negative balances.
-
Specific Updates to Campaigns:
- In the Resistance campaign, players now have more rounds to complete initial quests, with the number of rounds before chaos advances increased from five to six.
- The Primordial Oak campaign also sees an increase in the number of rounds before chaos advances, now set at six, along with the addition of Chaos Reduce quests in Siege Towns.
IronOak Games encourages players to report any ongoing issues via their Discord channel, ensuring that the development team can provide assistance. Additionally, all players must update to the latest version to participate in multiplayer sessions together.
The studio remains dedicated to delivering further updates and hotfixes in the coming days, thanking the community for their continued support.
