Keplerth Development Update: Public Test Postponed
The development team behind the indie adventure RPG, Keplerth, has announced a delay in the release of the highly anticipated public test version of their MOD editor, originally scheduled for June. This decision comes after the discovery of significant bugs during closed testing that pose a risk of permanent file corruption.
In a message to the community, the TARO Team expressed their commitment to delivering a high-quality gaming experience and emphasized the importance of addressing these issues before moving forward. The public test is now expected to launch in late August, allowing the team additional time to ensure the game's stability and performance.
The team is actively working to fix the identified bugs and implement further optimizations. They are dedicated to maintaining open communication with players throughout this process and will provide regular updates on their progress.
In addition to the MOD editor, the development team has been busy enhancing various aspects of the game. Key features currently in development include a gene editing system, support for the Steam Workshop, player skills system, and a mercenary system, among others. Notably, the game will also introduce an accessory synthesis system and a new storyline, expanding the immersive world players have come to enjoy.
The TARO Team appreciates the ongoing support of the player community and is focused on delivering an improved gaming experience. Regular updates will be provided as development progresses, and player feedback will be actively sought to shape the future of Keplerth.
For any inquiries or feedback, players are encouraged to reach out via the Steam discussion forum or directly through email. The TARO Team remains committed to transparency and is grateful for the understanding and patience of its community during this development phase.
