Haemimont Games has announced an upcoming DLC titled "Robots and Guardians" for their popular simulation and strategy game, Stranded: Alien Dawn, alongside a significant free update. This announcement comes as part of the studio's continuous effort to enhance gameplay and deliver fresh content to its community.

The highlight of the free update is the introduction of automated resource delivery through Delivery Drones. These drones will alleviate the burden of resource management for players, allowing survivors to focus on more complex tasks. According to producers Kalina Kirilova and Bisser Dyankov, this addition aims to streamline gameplay and improve efficiency within the game.

The Delivery Drones will be accessible early in the gameplay, requiring electricity and electronic components for construction. Players will need to scavenge for these materials to successfully implement the drones into their base. Once operational, the drones can transport resources across a radius of 200 meters, functioning independently and significantly speeding up resource logistics.

In addition to the free update, the new DLC will introduce various Servant Robots. Players who acquire an AI core will unlock the ability to create robots designed to handle multiple non-complex tasks, such as planting, harvesting, cooking, and repairing.
