An exciting new update for the Early Access title Stranded: Alien Dawn is set to launch on March 28, 2023. Dubbed the "Sow and Sell" update, this release will introduce a fresh scenario, complete with a new narrative, challenges, and objectives for players to explore.
In this latest scenario, players will guide a group of individuals who have ventured to an uncharted planet with ambitions of establishing a trading outpost. Unlike previous gameplay experiences, this scenario allows players to select three survivors equipped with basic supplies and knowledge of farming, aiming to generate resources for trade and ultimately purchase the planet itself. The survivors will utilize a Trading Pod to transport resources and engage in trade with orbiting ships, adding a dynamic layer to resource management and strategy.
The Trading Pod will serve as a central hub for players, enabling them to send and receive goods, including technology and breakthroughs from various trading factions. Players can also post job offers to recruit additional workers using in-game currency, Galacticoins, which are essential for expanding the outpost.
In addition to the new scenario, the update will introduce a new character, Vicente Santiago, an expert in farming and trading. Players can also look forward to new research opportunities, recipes, and a variety of crops, enriching the gameplay experience. Notable additions include Hydroponic Racks for improved farming and a Money Counterfeiting breakthrough that allows players to create fake Galacticoins.
Quality of life improvements and bug fixes are also part of this update, enhancing overall gameplay stability. Full patch notes will be released on March 28, detailing all changes and new features.
