For The King II Pet Shop Update Adds Pets, Berserker Trait, and Bulk Inventory Tagging
IronOak Games today released the Pet Shop Update for For The King II, adding pet companions that players can find or purchase, rename, and level up with kibble. New pets appear through overworld encounters, and pet naming adds a personal touch. The patch also introduces the Berserker trait, granting a 20% attack boost while making all equipped weapons breakable; Berserker can be unlocked in the Lore Store after accumulating three weapon breaks. New weapons include The Walloper, returning War weapons (War Spear, War Axe, War Pick), and two new whips (Chain Whip and The Firecracker), with unique artifacts that can be found once per run. Inventory QoL gains include bulk tagging to Give/Sell or favorite items, plus three sorting options. The Combat Timeline UI has been updated (active character gets a gold border; HP bars flash below 25%); other changes cover boss scaling for fewer players, a reduced unlock requirement for the Clown Wig cosmetic, the ability to rename the player from the inventory, and a return to 3D difficulty icons. The patch also includes extensive bug fixes and performance improvements, including faster loading on HDDs and 8th‑gen consoles and various tutorials and UX/UI refinements.
