Keplerth Alpha 25 Update: Embrace Nature with New Adaptations and Potion Brewing!
Keplerth Update: New Features and Ongoing Development Progress
The latest update for Keplerth, an adventure and simulation RPG, introduces a host of new content and adjustments, while also providing insights into the development roadmap for future enhancements.
New Content Overview:
The update has restructured the Underground World into four distinct levels, each presenting unique challenges to players. To navigate these treacherous environments, players can unlock various boss workbenches in Schip’s Lab to craft the new "Envr Adaptability Needle." This item grants characters immunity to the hazardous conditions found underground, ensuring that those who import old save files will automatically gain this adaptability.
Additionally, the "Plating Pool" workbench has been replaced by the "Chemistry Workbench," allowing players to craft potions and insect-collecting nets. Five new insect species have been introduced on the surface, which can be captured and utilized for potion brewing. Health-restoring potions have also been revamped to provide instant effects with a cooldown, while food items now offer gradual health restoration.
Game Adjustments:
Several gameplay adjustments have been made to enhance the player experience. For instance, the plating system now provides a fixed number of stats, and the movement speed while mounted has been slightly reduced. Boss encounters have been balanced, with changes to skill power based on map difficulty and increased equipment strength from boss workbenches.
Bug Fixes:
The update addresses various bugs, including a display issue affecting item drops in online mode for non-console players and a resolution problem on 4K screens.
Current Development Progress:
The development team has shared a transparent look at ongoing and planned features. Key systems like achievements, equipment enhancement, NPC quests, and a mini-map have been successfully integrated. The multiplayer system is currently in internal testing, while improvements are ongoing for the gene editing system and story plots.
Future plans include the introduction of body-part editing, dungeon challenges, and various NPC interactions. However, features such as vehicles and water & fire systems have yet to be initiated.
The developers are committed to providing frequent updates and maintaining open communication with the community. They express their gratitude for the continued support from players as they work to enhance the Keplerth experience.
