Keplerth Update: New Features and Improvements Announced
In a recent update, the development team behind the indie adventure RPG Keplerth has unveiled a series of new features and adjustments aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience. Players can now look forward to a range of improvements, including the introduction of a genetic analysis material backpack that streamlines the organization of genetic materials. This new backpack automatically sorts all genetic analysis materials, making it easier for players to manage their resources.
Additionally, new pet behavior control buttons have been added, allowing for more interactive gameplay. Players can now quickly feed their pets from a distance, further enhancing the pet management system within the game.
The latest update also includes several adjustments to improve gameplay mechanics. For instance, all gene modules that meet analysis conditions are now sorted automatically, and a noticeable tip has been added to guide players in gene editing. Furthermore, the drop rate of genetic analysis materials from plants has been increased, providing players with more opportunities to collect resources.
To enhance player experience, a brief introduction to the features of Uninhabited Islands will now appear when players first enter via the Meco Portal. Notably, a cooldown period of eight seconds has been implemented between feeding actions, and newly tamed pets will start at level one.
The update also addresses numerous fixes, correcting issues that affected gameplay, including character movement during scene transitions and problems with modded clothing visibility.
Looking ahead, the development team has shared updates on ongoing and upcoming projects. The multiplayer system is currently undergoing internal testing, while improvements to existing features like the gene editing system and story elements are in progress. Future plans include the introduction of new systems such as events, weather, and NPC interactions.
The team remains committed to transparency and frequent updates, thanking the community for their continued support. Players can stay informed about the latest developments through the Steam discussion forum or by reaching out via email.
