Keplerth Alpha 24: Dive into the Exciting New Multiplayer Experience!

Keplerth Introduces Multiplayer Mode and New Features

The indie adventure RPG, Keplerth, has officially launched its highly anticipated multiplayer mode, allowing players to join friends and explore together. Despite rigorous testing to ensure a smooth experience, the developers acknowledge that some bugs may still persist due to limited staffing. Players are encouraged to report any issues they encounter via the Steam community discussions page, ensuring that the feedback will be reviewed even if individual responses are not feasible.

In addition to multiplayer functionality, several new features have been introduced. Each character now has access to a unique "uninhabited island," which can be reached through a portal regardless of the player's current world. This feature provides a personal space for players to return to, enhancing the gameplay experience.

New crafting options have also been added, including the ability to create Rockfill, which transforms water surfaces into land on the uninhabited islands. A new shovel tool has been introduced, allowing players to modify terrain more effectively.

The latest update also brings various adjustments aimed at improving gameplay balance. For instance, monster damage has been increased on Hard difficulty, and the despawn timer for items dropped upon player death has been removed. Additionally, pets now have enhanced tracking capabilities after falling, and the naming interface for captured pets has been streamlined.

Performance optimizations have been implemented, addressing issues such as item-picking range while mounted and language discrepancies in damage prompts. The drop rates for certain items have been adjusted, and the encounter rate for unique swamp monsters has been increased.

Looking ahead, the development team is actively working on several features, including a more robust multiplayer system, gene editing capabilities, and an improved storytelling experience. Players can expect ongoing updates and enhancements as the team aims to maintain transparency in their progress.

As the community continues to engage with Keplerth, the developers express their gratitude for the support and feedback received, promising to prioritize player experiences in future updates.
