New Updates and Features Announced for Keplerth
Keplerth, the popular indie RPG and simulation game, has recently unveiled a series of exciting updates aimed at enhancing the player experience. The latest patch introduces several new ecological environments, gameplay adjustments, and ongoing development projects that promise to enrich the adventure for both single-player and multiplayer modes.
New Content Highlights
The game now features two fresh ecological environments: the "Spore Cave" and the "Underground Rain Forest," which can be found in the first four underground floors. Additionally, players can explore the “Insect Environment” located in the depths of floors five through nine.
A new hostile race called the "Nightmare" has been introduced, complete with a main city known as "Underground Remains," found between floors ten and fourteen. These updates also include a variety of unique monsters that players can tame using a Pet Collar, as well as numerous new items, weapons, accessories, and outfits available in the "Underground Remains."
Moreover, the game now displays "Sale Price" information in item descriptions, enhancing players' understanding of their inventory.
Gameplay Adjustments
In response to player feedback, several adjustments have been implemented. The Coocoo Bomb's cooldown has been significantly reduced from eight seconds to just one, alongside a decrease in its damage output. The mechanics of Worm attacks have also been altered to offer long-range poison spraying, and Coopapa will no longer damage trees and buildings, promoting a more strategic gameplay experience.
Ongoing Development and Future Features
The development team is committed to transparency and frequent updates. Currently, several systems are included and functioning, such as the achievement system, equipment enhancement, NPC quests, and more. However, enhancements for plots and stories, as well as multiplayer systems, are still in progress.
Future plans include the introduction of an events system, weather effects, and various interactions with NPCs and pets. While the development of vehicles and water and fire systems has yet to commence, the team is enthusiastic about these features.
The developers express their gratitude for the community's continued support and encourage players to stay tuned for more updates. For further inquiries or feedback, players can engage through the Steam discussion forums or reach out via email at [email protected].
