Exciting Update and DLC Coming to Stranded: Alien Dawn on November 7

Survivors of Stranded: Alien Dawn, mark your calendars for November 7! A significant free update is on the horizon, promising to enhance gameplay with new mechanics, features, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. In conjunction with this update, the Robots and Guardians DLC will also launch, introducing new scenarios, characters, and engaging additions to the game.

The free update will provide players with several exciting enhancements that can be utilized across all scenarios and maps. Here's a sneak peek at what players can expect:

Delivery Drone Feature
To streamline resource management, the new Delivery Drone feature allows players to automate the transportation of materials within the game. Once research is completed, survivors can construct a Delivery Drone Station, enabling the drone to swiftly collect and deliver resources. This automation will free up survivors to focus on other essential tasks, while ensuring that materials are efficiently moved to where they are needed most.

Multistorey Buildings
The update also introduces multistorey buildings, allowing players to expand their bases vertically by adding up to six floors. With new options for stairs, elevators, and ladders, movement between levels will be seamless. Additionally, players can enhance their structures with new roof shapes and balcony options for added aesthetics.

Advanced Furniture Set
To complement these larger structures, a new Advanced Furniture set made from durable Carbon materials will be available. This furniture offers enhanced comfort for survivors, featuring improved beds, tables, and chairs designed to boost happiness and well-being.

Defensive Enhancements
Players can bolster their defenses with newly introduced Flak Cannons, which provide improved protection against aerial threats. Strategically placing these turrets on rooftops will enhance base security, ensuring the safety of survivors.

Quality-of-Life Improvements
Several quality-of-life changes will also be implemented, including a new Game Rule that grants a 50% movement speed bonus for survivors. Additionally, players can expand their electricity control circuits beyond nine and increase task priority ranges, offering greater flexibility in gameplay. Console players will benefit from a new performance mode for both PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.

This update is poised to enrich the Stranded: Alien Dawn experience significantly, and the community can look forward to a comprehensive patch note release on the update's launch date.

To get a first-hand look at the new features, tune into a gameplay livestream on November 6 at 15:30 GMT. Developers from Haemimont Games will showcase the new scenario and other updates on Twitch and YouTube.
