Stranded: Alien Dawn Officially Launches on Multiple Platforms
Stranded: Alien Dawn, the latest offering from Haemimont Games, has officially launched, leaving its Early Access phase behind. Players can now enjoy the game on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
As part of the launch, a significant free update has been released, introducing new content including a new survivor and additional gameplay features, enhancing the overall experience for players. The game invites players to navigate the challenges of survival on an alien planet, testing both their strategic management skills and the survival abilities of their characters.
The game presents three distinct scenarios, each offering unique narratives and challenges. In the Crash Landing scenario, players manage a group of up to four survivors who must scavenge for resources and find a way to signal for rescue. The Trading Outpost scenario places players in charge of three farm owners striving to establish a trading hub on the alien world. Lastly, the Military Outpost scenario tasks players with leading a team of scientists and soldiers to set up a communications relay amidst perilous conditions.
Key features of the new update include the addition of the Military Outpost scenario, where players can select up to six team members, equipped with advanced technologies and resources, to defend against escalating enemy attacks. A new character, Ember Griffin, a spec-ops commander, has also been introduced, bringing combat-oriented skills to the game.
The update also includes ten new achievements, localization in ten languages, and numerous gameplay adjustments aimed at enhancing the user experience. Players will have the opportunity to research new technologies, build defenses, and manage resources effectively to survive the harsh conditions of the alien environment.
